"Step Up, Step Out, Make A Difference," is a 30-week, after-school program dedicated to giving Coatesville girls (8th - 12th grade) empowerment, self-care, and leadership training. This program was created to support the girls of Coatesville in order to shift the greater mental well-being of these girls from "fighting," to "leading." Through personal and community development, we hope to create a group of girls that are not only able to act on bettering their own physical and mental well-being, but to be able to do that through the community as well. This program takes place on Wednesdays, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m at the Brandywine Center through the Fall, Winter, and Spring. See below for session dates. Step Up, Step Out, Make A Difference is one of AHHAH's Restorative Justice. Learn more about our other Restorative Justice programs and how to sponsor them by clicking the buttons below. |

Reflecting on the SUSO Summer 2023 Think tank.
Twelve INCREDIBLE Coatesville girls graduated as a part of AHHAH's first Step Up, Step Out, Make A Difference Summer Think-Tank leadership training. It was amazing to work with these wonderful girls, and watch them graduate from our first Think-Tank leadership training. One girl even said "ALL girls in Coatesville should take this program."
Thank you to Sandrien De-Bruijn for not only being a part of this program, but for also taking many of the wonderful photos for both the program and the celebration. Thank you to The Fund for Women and Girls for supporting this program and to The Alliance for Health and Equity for providing the space. |
