Our Mission

Building equity and justice by empowering youth, strengthening families, and mobilizing communities through arts, literacy, and mindfulness.

What We Do

Picture
Through mindfulness tools, artistic initiatives, and professional development training for staff, our programs
increase resiliency and create positive pathways towards productive and fulfilling futures for youth. We work
through multiple intentional strategies (CALM) to offset the stressful effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Our Community

Picture
Coatesville and Kennett Square have daunting challenges. Many face the threat of poverty and come from woefully under-resourced communities. The Literacy Project Foundation reports that 3 out of 4 people on welfare cannot read. Additionally, 50% of unemployed individuals between the ages of 16 and 21 are not considered literate.

We are profoundly hopeful that as a county - working together - we can reach our goals that every child in Chester County has the skills/tools and opportunities they need to achieve at their highest capacity.
