STEP UP, STEP OUT, MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Step Up, Step Out, Make A Difference (SUSO) is an ongoing after-school program dedicated to trauma responsive self-care, empowerment, and leadership training programs for the girls of Coatesville (9th - 12th grade) at Coatesville High School on Wednesdays from 2:15 - 3:45 PM.

This program is dedicated to providing a new trajectory for both reaching girls before they enter the carceral system, as well as for girls who are returning to the community. This program aims to not only assist the girls on their own self-care, but learning how to enact it in their community as leaders too.

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE FILMMAKING CLUB
Our Filmmaking program is dedicated to giving youth of Chester County Juvenile Probation opportunities to develop skills in multimedia, learn mindfulness skills for mental well-being, and help make up the team for the Invisible No More documentary. This documentary will be cultivated and created by the Filmmaking team in collaboration with the Creative Club of Chester County and the Chester County Youth Center (CCYC).

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE TRAVELLING ART EXHIBIT
Over the last several years AHHAH has collected numerous works and writings from youth in detention. As part of our effort to center the voices of the youth, we have worked with the Chester County Youth Center (CCYC) and ADC Kid to publish three books of poetry from incarcerated youth. The Justice Restored series documents the artistic expression and lived experience of incarcerated youth in Chester County. As our organization and outreach grows we hope to engage more youth in our expressive arts workshops and creative writing projects.
JUSTICE RESTORED 3.0!
Picture
Our most recent project, Justice Restored 3.0, celebrates the writing and drawings of young people from inside and outside the Chester County Juvenile Detention Center. On every page their fears and hopes shout out in strong language and vibrant illustrations.

Through a collaborative two phase project this book came into being. The writing came first in response to a simple prompt: Who am I? Where do I come from? These questions were a powerful catalyst resulting in vibrant prose, poems, letters, and essays. Those writings were then given to peers in the
Chester County Futures program, who used their artistic skills to develop accompanying illustrations. Each of these partnerships delivers a strong impact on the page.

Social injustice and personal struggles are common themes. In a series of letters a direct appeal to parents, schools, and members of the community is made. Page after page of Justice Restored 3.0 astonishes, provokes, and powerfully moves. Be prepared, this little book will take your breath away!

Justice Restored 3.0 can be purchased on Amazon or eBay. Profits from the sale of Justice Restored 3.0 (and the entire Justice Restored series) support AHHAH's programming at CCYC and with underserved youth in Chester County.
