“It takes a village to raise a child”, especially a child that has been impacted by poverty, trauma, marginalization, or disconnected from the community. One person, one organization cannot do it alone.
That is why AHHAH has united 12 organizations for a yearlong Basket of Love Campaign. We will work together to support each other in delivering our services for the greatest impact on the children and families we serve in Chester County.
We believe that when we come together and with the help of individuals who care we can change the trajectory of youth in poverty and create a more equitable and just society where every child has the skills, tools and opportunities to thrive and achieve their highest capabilities.
The Basket of Love Campaign launched on July 1, 2026, and will culminate in a Celebration June 2027 bringing all 12 organizations together. AHHAH will highlight a different organization each month on AHHAH’s social media, newsletter, web page, e-blasts and press releases. AHHAH has set up a landing page where people can find out more information about each organization and how we are collaborating and working together.
Each organization, including AHHAH has a “Basket of Love Wishes”. People who care are invited to donate either to the organization of the month, to AHHAH, or to any of the other organizations in the Basket of Love Campaign and help our wishes come true.
I hope you will join AHHAH in our Basket of Love Campaign.
